I Had A Dream
There is this planet I'm walking around on. The sky is grey and the sun is fractured. Over half of the broken sun is shining. The trees hang over as if they are ashamed of something. The ground is flat and dusty. Nothing but wilted trees and random rivers and lakes. I hear a cracking sound and the a piece of the shining fractured sun breaks again. A thin sliver of the light falls into my hands as the sun goes completely out. I look at the sliver and it starts bl<x>inking, threatening to go out. I look around and it seems as if the trees begin to weep.
I stand up and run towards what seems like a town. I try to get someone to help me but it seems like everyone are statues of their former selves. I walk around trying to get someone to respond. I walk towards the castle and walk in past the lifeless guards. The king sits on the throne watching me as I walk towards him. How much longer will you make us suffer? He asks me. I told him I don't know what he is talking a out. I told him a out the sun breaking and going out and that only a small sliver was left but it threatened to cease to exist. He just looks at me and tells me that I've doomed everyone unless I change. I told him I didn't understand. He stands up and leads me to a balcony that overlooks the kingdom. There was just a dark outline of the sun in the dark sky, no color, no life, nothing. He said I was the one who could bring the color back. I asked him how and he says I'm the I my one who could do it. I look at the small sliver of sun in my hand that fading fast. All I could do was just go to the throne and sit and watch the last bit of light flicker between life and death
