I Had A Dream

the hot sweat dripping down my forehead im running cutting down tree branches and vines hanging onto my sisters hand its chasing me in the mist of daylight i see it the jaws of destruction it's going to swallow both of us whole if i dont make it. my sister screaming at the top of her lungs the adrenaline pumping throughout my body i know we're not going to make it. i feel my knees wobbling im going to fall. in the corner of my eye it flashed it speeded up catching both me and my sister a jeep a woman holding us and gently landing us in the back seat in the dreary gaze i see her my mom looking fearless as ever and my dad driving yelling asking if we're ok. speeding down the dirt path my mom shooting at any harmful animal in sight as we race home we make it to safety outside of the battle field. End.
