I Had A Dream

In this dream, I am outside with an older man who I don’t recognize. I am watching the sun go down from a line of clouds and the sky is dark. Suddenly, the sun rushes back up into the clouds at an angle and stays there. I’m not sure if this small part was particularly next, but I remember going inside of a house and telling Darren (my step brother) about the sunset. He didn’t seem to care because he was focusing on a video game he was playing. It wasn’t that he blew me off; he just didn’t seem too impressed. I then returned outside (I think) and watched as a light showed in a forest before me. Soon, I could hear a dog barking and I saw a man come out of the woods. He waived a bright flashlight around as if he were looking for something and he held back a dog on a leash that seemed to be on a trail. Then, as I watched the man coming from the woods, what I believed to be the sun rose from the clouds a small distance. I turned and watched as it illuminated with a fiery orange color, shining down on me and the older man who had been standing next to me without lighting the ground or the sky (it was still dark). It got very bright, then died down to a somewhat dim light. And the last I remember of the dream was the man beside me saying that the fiery light was actually “a special kind of harvest moon”.
