I Had A Dream
Because of how broken up this dream appears within my memory, I will explain it in 7 parts. In the first part, I remember being with my father at some kind of outdoor mall. However, unlike most outdoor malls that I have seen, even the stores were without a roof. I went into one of the stores because I realized that I did not have a shirt for some reason, so I then looked for and bought a new one. In the next part, I remember being in some sort of large building (similar to the outdoor mall, but with a roof). I and other people from my school were waiting to surprise a girl named Meredith for her birthday. Afterwards, I have a slight memory of my ex-girlfriend pulling me away to talk to me angrily (she had recently dumped me in real life). In the third part, I am on a grassy hill covered in recyclables that I begin to clean up. This is probably because I had cleaned up recyclables that were blown around in the wind on the last trash day. But I remember looking up and seeing misty clouds as well as small specks of clouds resembling the crescent moon (which also showed lightly in the blue sky). I then look over and see an old stone building covered in moss. Near the ground was an opening with a piece of cut wood in front of it. The wood wasn’t attached and it swayed back in forth in the wind. Next, I hear a man explaining to me what the opening in the building was for. He told me a story about a bald man who was tricked into the hole, only to have a gate closed behind him and the opening boarded up. I remember seeing the bald man trapped inside the small room. I saw someone outside who pulled off the wooden cover so that kids could throw rocks and make fun of the trapped man. Eventually, the man taught himself to become a contortionist and “contorted” his way out, opening up the gate and pushing out the wooden cover. Then, in part five, I remember that I and few others were being chased by soldiers. They were dressed sort of like Nazi storm troopers with dark rounded helmets that flared out at the bottom and had an arrowhead-like shape on top of it. The soldiers also carried guns as well as medieval weapons, some of which do not exist. For example, one of the soldiers used a crossbow holding a giant, round axe-head to blow open a set of wooden double doors. Then I remember seeing one of the soldiers running out onto the roof of a building that was covered in clay tile. He went to the edge of the roof where a red metal statue of a dragon sat, and he then pulled off the statue and threw it over his back. He held onto the wings and flapped them as if he expected to be able to fly with the statue. But before he jumped off the building, the statue came alive and started to flap its wings on its own. Then, as the man showed a look of fear on his face, the metal collapsed in on itself (taking the soldier with it). Before the ball of metal disappeared, it almost froze in a specific position so that is was about the size of a basketball with beams of red light coming from the openings in the metal. Now, in the sixth part, there is no real place that I can remember being, but I remember a man telling me about the collapsing metal forms. He explained that there was a metal structure that gave off red light (like the one that sucked up the soldier), a structure that gave off yellow (I remember a man in a bathtub being taken by a metal structure that glowed yellow) and finally, there was a structure that gave off blue light. I got a glimpse of the man who was telling me this, and I remember seeing some kind of symbol on his forehead. It was circular with a sort of Celtic cross on it and an emerald in its center. And last of the seven parts, I remember seeing a man beside a car in the early morning. He heard something behind him and turned to see what it was. I knew it was some sort of creature, and I could hear the beast running to attack. But all I remember is seeing the man’s surprised face and then I woke up.
