Not sure if text-messages or voice calls - perhaps about the same but both are very variable in frequency.
Camera? Veryy rarely. It's all right for a quick snap-shot but that's about all.
Alarm? I use that maybe once a year.
Calculator? It's so basic, purely arithmetical, I may as well use pencil and paper. No roots function (I could use pencil, paper and logarithms for those). It even lacks the decimal point.
Oh, and it's only portable, not mobile.

@FreddieUK :) I was being tongue-in-cheek, with a high disregard for sloppy slang like "app" and a belief in buying appliances or equipment based far more on personal need than fashion.
The entire instrument is not connected to the Internet! I am not sure if it can be technically, but with a screen smaller than an ordinary playing-card, what use would it be?

@ArishMell I know you like to challenge linguistic forms new to you, but the term 'app' is now the accepted form for a computer application and specifically refers to that as opposed to other meanings of 'application'. You and I were probably corrected to use 'refrigerator' not 'fridge' and to use an apostrophe of using it in written colloquial speech. Cf flu.
