That would be about two months ago. My wife was having difficulty breathing so we went to the hospital. Her blood pressure was 285 over 156. They did a chest X-ray and a CT scan. Turns out she had a massive blood clot in her left lung about 3/4 the size of the lung and a bunch of smaller ones in her right lung. That was causing her heart to work extra hard trying to bring in enough oxygen to breathe and live on. They admitted her to the ICU unit of the cardiac care ward. They put her on 60 liters of oxygen and administered a heavy duty blood thinner intravenously. That first night the head doctor and nurse of the hospital came in and had what I call "The Chat". That's where they asked if you crash in the night how far do you want us to go to save you. That is a very sobering and scary chat. Fortunately she survived the night. The blood thinners worked and 8 days later she was discharged and was able to come home. I got through it with prayer and support from friends on SW and in real life.

@scorpiolovedeep Yes they were. Her heart was working overtime trying to get oxygen into her body. Fortunately as soon as they put her on the 60 liters of oxygen her blood pressure came down immediately.
