Why do people try to force people to smile?

Lol I'm getting alot of push back cause when I take a picture and most the time I pose I don't smile, and people be like why aren't you smiling and I tell them I only smile when I'm actually happy about something and they be like you need to smile why do people force people to smile when they don't want too especially in pictures

@mbai2223 I don't think they do it intentionally but rather they can't help it, or more accuratele, cannot help themselves..

Just like some people who were forced through violence and perpetuate usage of violence...

Then you have the adults "smile, say thank you, kiss auntie, say cheese"
