Girls, do you feel flattered when a fellow girl tells you you smell good?

I know someone who always wears beautiful perfums, and I always tell her she smells good whenever we hug. Sometimes I do that to coworkers too.
I make it a habit to say the good things about people, but sometimes I wonder if it's flattering or just becomes annoying with time. (I hope not! But I can't help but wonder...)

Perfumes and colognes bother my lungs. I do not like smelling them. They are supposed to be subtle. Many people soak themselves in them. I never compliment on them. Too smelly. I do point out that.

@PoetryNEmotion Well I'm not talking when people soak themselves. I'm talking about that subtle refreshing fragrance.
@Friendlyperson To me there is no subtle. It triggers my asthma. People do not consider smell sensitive people. That is the problem. What is okay for you is too much for me. I stay away from anyone wearing it. And I do point it out to them verbally. I have also refused to have relatives or friends of patients enter the rooms of the people I am taking care of. That is my right.
