Are your favourite genre and least favourite genre of music far apart in style?

in mine it is! raggae vs metal or folk music!

I like most genres because I'm a music lover, but I don't much enjoy American country music. The only country music I like is Jamaican Trojan Reggae, and I'll leave you with a sample of that. [media=https://youtu.be/BkedJm29sWg]

@SW-User i see :) well to me raggae is the bad parts of jazz and just way to slow!
country is a classical genre disliked by a lot of people!

@SW-User well you hear it in the first couple seconds, its like its slow jazz.
ooh theres quite the variety, i dislike most jazz too after all :p

i think country is more used spicifically for that one genre.
isn't it more like folk music from the caribbean area?
