Why do people buy candle or incense?

you buy it just to see it slowly erode over time and die!?

It is the same with a lot of things. Coffee, donuts, gasoline. Anything consumable has a short life span.

@JamesBugman coffee and donuts live on in food, gasoline as power but candle nothing, also it leaves behind a dying corpse unlike the others!
