Constant, full consideration and realisation of the present
popmol · 22-25, M
@SnailTeeth what does that mean?
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@popmol It means if you can master every moment in your life, you will be the master of your life. You won't need super powers, or wishes.
popmol · 22-25, M
@SnailTeeth well thats just unrealistic :p
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@popmol No. I didn't say you wouldn't befall hardship. I simply said you'd be the master of it.
popmol · 22-25, M
@SnailTeeth so you'd work thought anything instantly?
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@popmol No, I think it would just be more calming if people didn't have to spend their lives either reminiscing, or planning. The world would be less frustrated, if it were humble and accepting of the present. Fully. Mistakes would still be made, but they would be made into opportunities of growth and understanding. Mistakes and failures are only bad things, for people who cannot master them.
popmol · 22-25, M
@SnailTeeth so stay in the moment, thats possible!
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@popmol It feels good to breathe.
popmol · 22-25, M
@SnailTeeth well of course otherwise you'd die!
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@popmol
But even if you weren't aware of death, it would still feel good to breathe.

If you get someone a present you think they'll love but they hate, it's not until they hate it that it feels unhappy. Right? That rejection can be heavy.

It doesn't rob the joy from the act of lovingly gift-giving.

Sometimes we think of the worst effects, when it comes to the causes that can lead to them.

I think it's important to dilute that panic-inducing habit.

Just because it can happen, doesn't mean it will. We need to train our instincts to trust ourselves enough to not let them habitually overthrow us with worry.

We must learn to be considerate in all approaches.

You usually stumble on what you know you know, because of the part in our brains that likes to think it knows everything. Practice can manifest reality, but it doesn't dictate reality.
popmol · 22-25, M
@SnailTeeth so you mean you need to think what is the worst that could go wrong, and not worry , and than if the worst happens you can get out it without staying in it for days or years?
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@popmol It's hard to describe exactly what we mean to each other at times. Not just us here, but people in general.

It's because of how we frame things.

I'm just trying to say, one of the hardest lessons in life is learning to sit quietly and accept pain/loss.

I had a habit of trying to fix every problem, instead of just giving some fires/problems a fireplace.

The future might be grim, it might not be. However, it's important to never stop searching for the silver-lining in all things.

Whether we live or die from breathing, shouldn't rob us of our enjoyment of it.

That's the lesson I needed to learn.

That's the lesson in life I found hardest.

Learning to cry inside. Finding my inner punching bag/dojo.

Learning to sit with the titan of discomfort. The sad giant of the universe. The realisation that this is the greatest thing we'll ever know, and none of it even really matters.

Life is absurd.
popmol · 22-25, M
@SnailTeeth wel li don't like it that way :p life should be enjoyable! sadly in our society it won't work out!
