What's the difference between "ethical" and "moral"? [I Ask Questions]

I have heard people make a distinction: "I do not have moral objections to that, but I have ethical objections." At least one of these people had an advanced degree in philosophy, so he no doubt had a basis for such a statement.

Might ethics be the science of morality? My personal compass of the later is definitely not a guide to be trusted. Get a map.
