@SW-User I’d be wrecking pretty quick if I had to drive like that. Have heard of people moving there for jobs or whatever & used to these roads here in Oklahoma and then having a wreck and dying on the freeways. You better have a vehicle in nearly new shape and keep it maintained that’s for sure. No junkers on the freeways.

@SW-User too crowded, too expensive to rent, freeway congestion and smog. They’ve done crapped up paradise.

I haven't been there in years except when we took our daughter to Disneyland. Thats when we drove through LA.@cherokeepatti

@SW-User went nearly 3 years ago and it’s changed quite a bit. There were some nice beaches we went to before that weren’t crowded through the week that you don’t even want to go to now. Too many homeless hanging around, don’t want to step on a needle in the sand. 😖 Venice Beach was fun 20 years ago but they’ve ruined that too. Went to Newport Beach and it was not the best beach to go to but the only change I got so we went.

I dont think we'll ever go there again as I wouldn't recognize it. It just doesn't appeal to me. Seattle has homeless too. The hub and I were there yesterday but the mayor is trying to clean it up and I did see less tents.@cherokeepatti

@SW-User wouldn’t be surprised if some of their homeless is coming to my city here in Oklahoma. The churches take turns sponsoring meals and furnishing tiny homes for some of the single mother and others and there are so many things that the word is getting out, they come here on buses.

@SW-User there is a meth camp in a wilderness park about 2 miles from here. Those people are walking all over this side of the city looking for things to get into and steal. They get 3 free meals a day at the food kitchen, and can take snacks, water & hygiene items but can’t sleep at the shelters. The mayor and city council defunded our police dept. by nearly a million dollars and now they have twice the domestic violence and a big increase in thefts, burglaries, and other crimes to take care of. What a mess the socialist mayor has created for our once nice city. This is the place where so many who work in Oklahoma City moved to and bought homes to get away from that type of stuff in OKC.

Yep the mayor did the same thing here during the rioting. Good police officers quit. Im surprised the city wasn't taken over. @cherokeepatti

@SW-User the plan she had was to cut 8 police officer jobs and 15 officers came out and said they would find a job in the next city, quit or retire early. So the next city will get trained & experienced police officers, good for them. It only costs $200,000 each to train new police officers through the Police Academy. This idiot mayor is gonna cost our city dearly. She is under investigation now for something she has been accused of doing before she was elected. I hope they dig the dirt up on her good.

@SW-User yes it is. Domestic violence cases doubled exactly since the year before. Let’s see what happens when a social worker knocks on their door when a woman is getting her head beaten in.

@SW-User you know this is a conservative state. I think some of these people living here have been imported here to twist our local laws to their favor. When so many of these cities come up with the exact same “solutions” you know that it is an evil conspiracy to take over this entire country. All they are doing is showing their asses to the world with what they’ve done.
