@sassypants now you have me thinking about the cheese bagels that the place by me used to make. haven't found a bagel as good yet.

@testbutton Its all about getting the dough right. You may have to try several recipes to get the flavor you want.

@sassypants yup, agree 100% my first attempt looked soooo delicious, but the dough wasn't right. i'm ready for attempt #2. i don't mind trying the fun things over and over until i get it right!

@testbutton You will, just keep at it. I just went through the same process for moist banana bread. The baking temperature and time have to be perfect. Every oven is different so it is a bit of trial and error.

@sassypants Damn you, making me think of banana bread... dinner won't come too soon tonight!! oh and that makes me think of a question to post. nuts or no nuts in banana bread?
sassypants · 36-40, F
@testbutton Generally I go with no nuts in breads. My dad likes it with so I bake him one special for the holidays. I have an Amish recipe that is delicious. You can use a similar version for pumpkin bread.

@sassypants Nuts in banana bread? are you crazy? and here i thought we could be friends... JK. my poll seems to agree with me so far.

@testbutton Its not my preference if you read my post. I don't even care for Sesame seeds.
testbutton · 51-55, M
@sassypants darnit, my apologies, I read to fast. I guess that means we are besties now, whether you like it or not! I think sesame seeds don't really add much, except for a thousand of them all over the table.

@testbutton Well I will let it go this time. Let me know how your pizza dough turns out.
