Years ago as kids, an acquaintance’s brother named their black cat the “n” word. (The family’s African American). To [b]her[/b] credit, she took the cat away from him and named it something else. 🙄

@bijouxbroussard good on her, and good that cats don't react when you say their name anyway. they know it, they just don't react to it.

@testbutton My cat would actually reply when I called her name. It was funny, she was a Maine Coon and she would chirp from wherever she was in the flat. She didn’t always feel the need to stop what she was doing and come, but she’d answer. 😸

@bijouxbroussard actually, one of mine will most often come when i call his name. the other one... not so much, but he's still young.
