Maybe you could inform your dad the people who usually gets the carts (at Walmart) are mentally impaired (at least in my store) and perhaps he could return it to make their lives easier?
Why is he shopping at an institution he doesn't like? Giving Walmart your money is not punishing them 😆

You are right. The cart pushers don’t have an easy day and it’s worse when the weather is not cooperating.

@cherokeepatti ive done that gig. Summer sucks for cart pushers

@JestAJester I worked as a greeter at Walmart here during the summer of 2011. It was a record-breaking heat and drought to go along with it plus winds that felt like a damn furnace. So bad that if i went to any store to shop I would bring a large ice water from home and start drinking it in the car and finish it inside of the store and my mouth would still be parched. Fortunately for the cart pushers the managers were good about letting them come into the store when needed and get cold water from out water machine and fill up their water bottles that they could carry with them. It was still a miserable job in the summer. We had a young guy that looked college age that came in and bought stuff and went out to the parking lot. He claimed he couldn’t find his car and thought it got stolen, so one of the assistant managers went with him to help him locate it. It was near the back of the parking lot. I knew the heat had gotten to him and that’s why he probably couldn’t find it by himself.

here we have peoples whose job it is to collect those carts, so unless I am being paid to do their work for them, I aint returning the carts to the designated areas

Well, walmart sucks because the customers suck
Or at least partially the reason. I ain't no Neanderthal

@Stereoguy I like the Aldi system where you put a quarter in the slot on the handle and unlock the cart. It’s only a measly little quarter but enough of an incentive to make most people put the cart back themselves. And if they don’t do some older children will do it to get the quarters.

@Stereoguy How far is it from where you live? One reason I like to go is that it’s a small store, don’t have to walk much to shop, they are quick to check out, and the prices are good. You can find the basics except not a whole lot of brand names.
