@Elessar Beyond Meat and Impossible Burger tastes pretty close to the real thing. It fooled my brother who is an ardent meat eater.

@basilfawlty89 Yeah but it's still an imitation ultimately. If I don't want to eat meat I'll go for something that doesn't even resemble it. There are plenty of recipes that are naturally "vegan OK" on their own, bruschette on top of my mind, but even some pizzas (marinara, since it has no cheese),..

@Elessar bear in mind, the reason most of us go vegetarian or vegan is not because we hate the taste of meat, it's due to ethical or religious reasons.
