No it’s not
@MURD3RM0NK3Y It is. Until we accept what is, we cannot venture to change what is.

@KayraJordyn We weren’t made to have sick minds. We have sick minds because of the evil in the world
We have sick minds because our minds and bodies are BOTH, -EQUALLY- capable of becoming ill, because that is the nature of our fallen world. :) Evil didn't do it, we did. But regardless of cause, solution is the goal. Defining cause can soothe the soul, but it can't do anything to heal the current situation.

@KayraJordyn The solution is god. Repent to Jesus Christ with a sincere heart and he will give us a new heart and mind and we will have a relationship with god.

@MURD3RM0NK3Y You speak of salvation and relationship with Christ, but physical and mental illness does not equate with spiritual illness. That sounds like the theology that anyone who is ill lacks faith and yet a careful and thorough study of Jesus and the new testament would uncover the truth that Jesus healed at least one blind man who had no faith and didn't have a clue who Jesus was. There are also many examples of people of faith who were ill that Jesus and later the apostles did not heal. God's desire is your relationship with him in spite of your circumstances. The comment before yours is absolutely correct and doesn't conflict with your point that the ultimate solution is God. :)
@MURD3RM0NK3Y I have a relationship with God. He has changed everything for me, everything in me. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and though I fail Him daily, he has never failed me. I have dealt with mental illness--depression and anxiety mostly, and chronic daily pain, daily muscle spasms, fibromyalgia, icepick headaches and sleep problems as well. These are things I believe Jesus could heal, but He has chosen not to as of yet. My faith stands because God is faithful, and generous and loving and merciful, and just. Not because God has given me health. If I were to be healed, I would be grateful to the Lord. But not being healed has nothing to do with believing too little, or not knowing God well enough, or not trusting Him. I do trust Him. And I trust I'm sick for a reason, whether I can see it or not.

I hope you can understand that many who have faith are allowed to suffer. Do we not all suffer at times? And Job? He trusted the Lord despite death, illness, loss of animal life, everything but his own life that mattered to him, gone. God let Satan test him. And so we, too, are often asked to endure the seemingly impossible.
