What was a lackluster experience you had?

What experience did you have thay really didn't live up to the hype? Whether you built it up too much or it just sucked?

Seeing one of Broadway’s longest running shows, Cats. Never got the hype at all. Made me want to cough up a furball.

@OlderSometimesWiser I read the TS Eliot poems aloud to my kid for years and I still love them. But I don’t care for the show at all.

@Harmonium1923 And the movie, from what I understand, was even worse. Don’t know what Dame Judi was thinking getting involved in that mess.
