This was long before cellphone Karen's and back in the 90s
Drove in reverse on freeway for 15 miles at 2 or 3 in morning. I lost forward gear and all I had was reverse.
I was in the middle of nowhere. I stopped at red light to get on the freeway on ramp. I step off the clutch and on gas and nothing. I shift into reverse and I could move the car.
So I decided I wasn't gong to sleep in the car in the middle of winter and said fuck it, I'm going for it.
I drove all the way home on the freeway backwards. No cops till I get to my exit and they just missed seeing me.
I took the side streets the rest of the way and that was that.
