Hey You SW Members, I'm going to do something I never did before on-line tonight. I am going to open up the lines of communications tonight and I am going to let you ask me anything you freaking want.

So if you have a fear to ask me something and your worried about being judge. Put that thought out the window.

Whats the oldest car/ truck you OWN?
HumanEarth · F
The oldest I have ever owned is a 1959 Ford pick up

This up below is built from many different years going as far back from the 1960-2000 for parts

This is before the restore

This is after

I rebuild everything to what I want

I converted from automatic to a manual transmission. Automatics are no fun to drive

Having problems trying to find a 10 inch clutch plate and the linkage bushings. Because it still has the orig inline 6 250ci engine
HumanEarth · F
If it had the V8 no problem

@HumanEarth have you tried LMC trucks?

@HumanEarth so i asked a buddy of mine who has a 76 c10 250 straight six with a 3 speed manual transmission, he said he couldn't find a 10 in so went with a 11 in, said his bell house will fit up to a 12 in, and his flywheel has 168 teeth. idk if it will work for you but could be worth a shot?
HumanEarth · F
Really? Yeah the clutch just went out last summer, looks like to even be the factory original clutch and all.

I'm going to save this information. Lord knows I'm not going to remember this in 5 minutes

@HumanEarth yeah, he was able to get it to work for him, so idk. also if they used the same tranny might help because you could look for a wider range of years. My truck is funny because its actually built on the bronco frame not the normal 150, so 150 parts never work, but bronco parts are perfect factory fit from like 73 to 79 , so it may help to look at things other then just that truck year and model also like i had to.

The biggest thing is I want to keep the 3 in the three. Them are so are hard to find now days
