What do you think about actors being replaced by similar looking ones just due to the story line of a movie?

@scooogy it pretty much depends. if the story was intended to be that long, then u can't complain much about it. however, if they wanted the story to continue just because of success or whatever, then i see no point tbh. it's almost like u already know it won't be worth it. technology pretty much helps with that tho, making people looking even more similar lol

@Konicha605 In "Scrubs" they had a character die just to later on insert a new role with the actress of the character who died, and one character even said "you remind me of someone".

@scooogy ya terrible. the actor in a movie/tv series represents a character and only that one

@Konicha605 I came to think of that because your avatar reminds me of Batman and of a scene in "The Big Bang Theory" in which the first actor of Batman says that he is the original Batman, and I couldn't tell of any difference in the appearance in the movies.

@scooogy however, each batman movie seems detached from the others, so in that case it's ok that the actor changes

@Konicha605 In "Lord of the Rings" it's weird how the actual actor of Gollum (in the prequel within the second episode) now comes to my mind whenever I see people looking similar to that actor.
