@DarkHeaven 14-15 but i went thru phases later. i don't think it's the same for everyone.

@Konicha605 I thought maybe so too. Thank you for confirming that. I think generally many might know at 3 or 4, when most people become aware of their gender but not always. Same as gay people may typically become aware at 11 or 12, when most people become aware of their sexuality, but also not always. Societal expectations as well as people’s want to conform, makes things strange and more challenging, I think.

@DarkHeaven that's wrong to me. i feel like it's impossible to have to understand the meaning of gender at 3 or 4 or even at 10 lol. i mean, those are periods where even our hormones situation is different (testosterone and estrogen are almost on the same level). when u re a child there's not much different between male and female, so being a boy playing with a barbie or with makeup doesn't mean anything. it's more and more complicated than that. we are in constant evolution, therefore one person may understand they're gay or trans even 1 minute before death. there's not an age. about society, nothing to say. it has always sucked

@Konicha605 I see your point, but I’m also careful not to judge another’s journey, you know? Because I haven’t felt it from their side. I didn’t experience life or their body, as they did. All I know, is what I felt and what is right or wrong for me. I can’t speak for anyone else but I definitely knew that girls not boys made my pulse race, and made me feel sexually excited. I know it’s vastly more complicated with gender stuff, but what turns you on is pretty basic in some ways. The only thing that complicates that is society and a need to conform.
