What collapses the wave function in the double slit experiment by young and why?

@PolyamorousPlaymates I mean that’s the accepted theory that Quantum mechanics would suggest that particles can be in a state of superposition - in two states at the same time - until a measurement take place, implying the observation caused the collapse, I think in actuality it’s the other way around. Instead of consciousness causing the collapse, wavefunctions collapse spontaneously and in the process give rise to consciousness.

@PolyamorousPlaymates if I could prove it, I’d win the Nobel Prize in physics and radically alter our perception of Quantum physics.
