Cool. The Potter series I had to read to stay abreast of my kids, though I admit I prefer my fantasy a bit grittier; I'm more a Robert E. Howard or Stephen Donaldson kind of guy. I love hard boiled thrillers, especially some of the classic writers such as Hammett or Chandler.

Texas is cool. I've never been to LA, though I loved San Francisco the one time I was there. I'm fond of Patterson, though he isn't on my favorites list.

You live in Britain? That is the one place in the world I most want to visit. I am a passionate Anglophile! I was a history major (and teacher for a while) and British history was my field of choice, particularly the Anarchy and the Napoleonic periods.
For the record; the US is BORING!!!
I ask because I am. I'm not "up in your face" about it, but I don't bother to put clothes on to take out the garbage or grab the paper. I admit that I am an exhibitionist also, as a glance at my profile proves, but in a polite way.

I have no problem with you being so. What I meant by "up in my face", was by someone doing it for attention, not because it's right for them. But, if that what makes you comfortable, carry on. I can't judge you, I'm in no place to.

That sounds awesome. I want to do the tourist thing; see the Victory, go to the Tower, the armoury at Leeds, see Hadrian's wall. Have coffee at Lloyds. I envy you living there, I truly do.
