Did you get smacked as a kid when you was naughty from your mum

Yes I did. I got smacked quite often by my mum until I was about 9. It was her main way to punish me. She would lie me across the sofa and use her hand to smack my bum hard. I ended up with a red bum and always cried my eyes out.
