Where do you draw inspiration for your writing?

Mostly I would draw some past related issues that I've encounter or I would draw a specific type of memoir. Once, my dearest friend online here was into drugs and alcohol so I drew her smoking cigar and in the smoke had a small picture of her crying in pain. I named it "Coma".
