I have heard of pansexual and switch and have even looked them up but I still don’t really quite understand it , maybe you can better explain it to me

Pansexual is very similar to bi. The biggest difference, I guess, is that "bi" implies (at least to some people) that there's two genders. Pansexual instead treats gender as a broader category - to include gender-fluid, trans*, and so forth. I'm sexually attracted to people all across the gender spectrum, so for me at least "pansexual" makes more sense and is a better fit.
A "switch" is a person who can be both dominate and submissive. For me specifically, I'm typically one or the other with a given person - but with that person I can also be "neutral".
