Why are electric scooters still illegal in the uk? [I Am Adorable]

@undetermined I did some searching and it looks like Kinder Surprise is banned, but they introduced Kinder Joy as an alternative for the US market, where the toy and chocolate are separated.

@danser they’d be better legalising them with restrictions than making them illegal - it’s just double standards.

@NerdyPotato i am also talking about the ones in @danser’s picture. And sure if you’re going ridiculously fast or on rough ground or something then it’s dangerous. Then that shouldn’t be allowed. But it should be fine to use them on city cycle routes going at a normal speed. Its completely fine in other countries there’s no proper reason why the uk should be different
