I don't do much shopping anymore, but when I did, I used to start in November.

That sounds stressful. I just have a couple nieces and nephews I shop for so I don’t start until November
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@CaptainBard it’s so stressful luckily I’ve made the decision years ago to limit to 4 gifts each for Christmas and 2 gifts for birthdays so it’s not too bad

@MommaBear seems like a fair system. Glad that works for you, I never thought of the year round job the presents would be with a lot of kids on top of everything else 😩
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@CaptainBard it’s definitely a lot of work but the look of excitement is always worth it

Dec 20th, usually. If course my kid is in her 20s and doesn't need the latest must haves. 😅
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@ineedadrink lol true 😂
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
I’ve started early many times too, I was a single mom with not a lot of extra money every month. If I didn’t shop for 6+ months my kids wouldn’t have gotten much.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@RebelRaven i feel like it’s the smartest way to do it especially with Christmas in July sales and all the sales throughout the year
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
@MommaBear exactly
BrandNewMan · 61-69, M
It varies .. usually done by Thanksgiving to first week of December
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@BrandNewMan not bad at all
Degbeme · 70-79, M
When I feel like it. Which is really never. ☺
I don’t.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@InterdimensionalSideEye I don’t blame you
Lilnonames · F

MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Lilnonames that’s probably way less stressful
