So many times two or more people have different thoughts on what words mean.

I just got into that a bit ago. Isn't it important to try to first figure out what the other person means and is thinking before hurling insults at each other? Has such things happened to you?
I know I've messed up before. But I try to change and keep mind that sort of stuff as I grow. Another thing I'm learning is to just do the best I can and when things don't go pleasantly or as well as possible to just let it go. Not necessarily to not react. But if letting go means to jam out to some music or watch some TV to be able to get passed the thing then that's okay. Keeping one's mind in a healthy and stable state is important.

Some people have a chip on their shoulder and will take anything, even a compliment, as something negative.

@froggtongue yeah that too. Emojis may or may not help. They will take things out of context especially if they don’t know you well.
@cherokeepatti Exactly. I thought that same thing too. I was tempted at first to think emojis would solve it all. But that would have been just as folly.

You mean like people who don’t know what a woman is?
@MrBrownstone I suppose that could be something. One person could consider gender as binary while another sees it as a spectrum or matrix. Having two different ways to view it in itself might not be wrong. The thing to keep in mind is to not demonize someone or hurt someone just for that point of view that they don't share with you. Especially in matters that are about human constructed ideas.

@froggtongue Not when science clearly defines what a male is and female is via chromosomes.
@MrBrownstone Okay. Now this is common. When someone talks about women (gender) they then change the subject to females (sex in terms of biology). Chromosomes generally match one or the other (male or female). But there are those who have different sets. You've undoubtedly heard of XXY chromosomes which is called intersexed. And that's just on the chromosome level. We've not even said about how cells and bodies develop which causes those traits to be expressed in different ways.

But getting back to the man and woman dynamic which is about gender and not biology. You're saying there are different ways to express one as a man or a woman. Please correct me if I'm miss your point or am not understanding you. My point is to understand better.
