When the Night Became Beautiful

I know I write about the moon a lot, but there is real significance to why I do so. I often have meanings to things that only I or a few others are meant to understand, but I still hope for it to be written in a way others can find meaning in as well. I also like to write about the moon because she is absolutely stunning, and it's a quick way to share something beautiful that many people appreciate and relate to. The moon has a lot of deep meaning for people, and at the center of that is beauty and mysticism.

Now, getting into a deeper meaning, I am sure I have said this in the past, but for me, the moon and I weren't always friends. I am someone who gets peace from the heat and the sun. It is like my energy is completely reliant on this effect that the sun has on me. I found peace sleeping in the day while being active at night. As beautiful as the moon is, it still carries memories of fear, loneliness, and uncertainty. I already felt like there was an insufferable dark cloud over me where I was my own worst nightmare.

I have made peace with the night, the moon, and my past as I have grown into who I am today. I have learned to walk through different discomforts and know I will be okay at the end of them. I have an appreciation of beauty with the moon that replaced the fear I used to have when night would come and the world would sleep, making me feel lonely. I no longer need that small comfort the sun gave me to face the world because I am enough as I am now.

All in all, I say this to explain why my writing centers around certain symbolism, but I am going to practice with other things too soon.
