How many eggs does your family go through a week?

We are a family of 7 currently for reference

My older kids each have 2 eggs every morning with breakfast and my toddler has 1 every morning and then there’s cowboy he has 3 every morning

That being said if you don’t count things outside of breakfast or any baked items I make for them we go through 7 dozen a week 🫪 absolutely insane and it’s a good thing we have chickens

When the kids are with me we go through about 3 - 4 a week as eggs are a safe food for one of my kids.

@MyMonstersAreReal that’s an amazing safe food for them and it’s so amazing you follow that 🤗 I've seen some parents ignore kids safe foods all together and it’s a fight for them to get their kids to eat and their kids end up being hungry 😞

@MommaBear that’s truly horrible and makes my mama heart hurt so much. My last baby (turned 5 today 🥺) has major food sensory issues so there is a LOT of accommodations for his food. I’d rather make 18 meals a day (have done this before well maybe not 18 but you get the point ) than to think he’s hungry especially because he’s non verbal and can’t tell me what he wants or doesn’t want so some days there is a LOT of guessing work because a safe food one day is not a safe food the next day 🤷‍♀

ay.. good thing you have chickens .. i only use eggs in baking or if i have grits and eggs so i hardly buy eggs every other month or less .. i buy the extra large 18 packs
