I made chickpea "tuna" salad for dinner and it's betraying me hard.

Made it how i always do and it's attacking back. It's just mashed up chickpeas mixed with vegan mayo, salt,pepper, onions and celery diced, it's got dill and paprika and i added lemon juice. Slapped it on toast and bam easy dinner. For whatever reason it's coming back to haunt me.

Blame the onions.
That’s what I’d do.

It’s why they make onion powder.

@HikingMan Yeah but you gotta have that snap of red onion. It really compliments the celery
HikingMan · 51-55, M
@buriedalive I hate uncooked onions.
Blegh !

I know what a tuna is. I know what a chick is. I know what a pea is. Damn, I had to google chickpea.

@MoveAlong A girlfriend once sent me to the supermarket late at night for some chick peas. It was a big store but I couldn't find any. I had to ask to use the phone (long before cellphones). She was from the South. She told me they were also called garbanzo beans. I hated garbanzo beans!

@hunkalove the only difference between a chickpea and a garbanzo bean is, ive never had a garbanzo bean on my face.
