@HisMountainGirl my daughter was just over too about 2 years in one month and she had picked out this beautiful pair of brown boots with pink trim that were just absolutely beautiful she loved them and then we went and rode the escalator six times and I said okay it's time to go well she laid down on the floor and started throwing a dinner so I pulled out the boots and I said you see these after asking her numerous times to get up and quit acting like a fool she goes yes and I said they're going back on the Shelf and I'll walk to the shoe department and put them back on the shelf and she of course jumped up and ran behind me throwing a temper tantrum everybody looked at me like I was crazy and I looked at them and said she just turned two and then every single one of them was like oh okay and turned around and walked up and from that point forward whenever she would start to throw a temper tantrum I'd just say you remember the brown boots and that worked for about a year and then she didn't throw temper tantrums on me ever after that and I used voice to text so sorry there's no punctuation

@MommaBear I agree with you 100% on children act up more with people they Trust my daughter was acting up she's 11 now and I set her down one day and I said what's going on are you having trouble at school you've been acting out against grandma and myself quite a bit lately and I know that you know but no matter what you do we will always love you so where's the real problem and then she told me she was getting bullied at school so I'll fix that solution not sure if it's a long-term fix or short-term but her attitude is improved dramatically
