Someday I think nobody will know how to reverse their car without the aid of a backup camera.

When I bought that new car before I sold it I had a backup camera in it. While handy I just prefer using the mirrors as I always have done. The reason I sold that car was because that thing was a doom magnet. It was a nice car and drove well but I felt I attracted too much danger in it too many close calls from other drivers. Perhaps I am superstitious but I never had that much doom attract to my old car only the new one. I hope the new owner has better luck with it. I will stick with my old trusty.

I drive my son in the winter to his bus stop that’s 2 blocks away so he can stay warm. Every single time I watch several cars who go also drive there struggle to reverse out of there because it’s a dead end. I’m reversing two blocks on to get home and pulling right into my parallel parking spot.

My dad taught me to drive at around 11-12 years old and he told me if I wanted to learn that I needed to learn how to first drive in reverse as good as I should forward. I have a backup camera now, but I don’t trust it.

@MellyMel22 That is very smart and I remember my grandpa saying something similar about being able to go in reverse as well as forward the same skill level.
