Yesn't!

I believe they promote community over anything else but some people take it too far.
I have only good memories of the 2006 World Cup here in Germany, especially of the Dutch.

@Elessar I was 8 and not a fan of soccer lol
I just remember all the interactions with the Dutch. Turns out a stuttering 8 year old German is basically fluent in Dutch!

@GermanAf It was the first time I followed a world cup and we won it too, such a blast lol

@Elessar I 'member 2014 when we won. Still didn't care about soccer but it felt good all the same :D It feels good to win

@GermanAf Beating the Brits in 2021 at the last pen was sublime too tbh 😅 but mostly because they (many, not all of course) had this attitude like if they had already won

@Elessar Ooooh I didn't follow '21 at all. The slave labor thing really soured the whole affair imo lol

@GermanAf Noo I meant the Euro in Wembley, not the world cup in Qatar 😅

@Elessar oh boy that's embarrassing for me 🫪

Didn't follow that either but I always enjoy a good Brit thrashing (respectfully of course)

@GermanAf Yeah, here it's France the one that everyone wants to trash the most, idk why. I guess still incident with Zidane in 2006, or attitude too

@Elessar I think Fr*nce hate is universal in Europe, rightfully so 👀
