Sadly, many of the people who need mental health medication refuse to take it.

and many of the people who would benefit from mental health intervention refuse to accept it. You cant help someone if they dont want to be helped.

I always advise people this: if you’re depressed due to bills you dont need a therapist just for being depressed for that 🙄 you need the system to be fair but it’s not like it’s gonna happen anytime soon BUT STILL, the alternative shouldn’t be “ok, well let’s just put them on meds and drug them” just because you’re depressed about not being able to make end’s meets and they legally can’t tell you how to escape poverty and they legally can’t give you financial advice. So to shut you up, they drug you because they don’t wanna hear about how you can’t afford milk which is why you’re depressed in the first place lol

@TurtlePink Then you would become even more depressed because you cant afford the insurance to pay for the therapy, the drugs along with the milk to wash them down with.
