Even though this is only a website there are real people behind the avatars and usernames. And since people can be unpredictable your apprehension is understandable. Keep in mind you will most likely not be the reason for the misunderstanding. It could be someone is having a bad day and won't take the time to communicate with you.

Yes, it’s sad when that happens. It’s happened to me too. Unfortunately the cost of doing business. But do keep in mind that the block probably has less to do with you and more to do with whatever issues are causing them to be trigger happy with the block button.

This happened to me once but based on the posts that preceded it, that person very obviously had problems that they needed to take care of. I still wonder who it really was a what happened to them though.

yeah that would suck but if it's someone that's actually a friend, they'd allow and/or even want a conversation themselves. Misunderstandings happen. If they don't, it's probably not that big of a loss. That or they're not in a particularly good place.

It does happen here quite a bit. People block me and unblock me multiple times and I don't even get it. One day you're cool the next they're coming at your throat. People are like that irl too. I'm just old and desensitized to it

Intolerant people block. People who can't explain their point of view block. They don't understand that when they block you they did you a favor. You won't have to deal with their negative posts anymore.
