common sense and socializing and playing outside with real people

@beermeplease Totally. They should build more apartments with that little park space where all the kids can go out and play together.
@BohoBabe reminds me of a time when i was on a swing in such an environment. i was in grade 7 and there was a patch of grass between our buildings. some older kid was picking magic mushrooms. i asked him what he was doing. he said nothing, just picking some mushrooms. i asked him if they were magical (i knew what they were) and he said yeah, but that i shouldn't pick them...i told him is that because you don't want me stealing your stash? 🤣

@beermeplease See, that's childhood right there.
@BohoBabe it's coming up to mushroom season in the next few weeks here in the pacific northwest 😵‍💫
@beermeplease Remember the merry go round challenge? I was a runty stocky husky kid, and had the strength to hang on for dear life.

@NativePortlander1970 remember hanging on for dear life while the boys pushed it around way too fast
@NativePortlander1970 not only did it just build strength but it had social impact too...what we did as kids built our character....we learned a lot by what we did whether it was the merry go round or hide and go seek, or tag you're it....we learned from all those activities...more than we know it
