Guys I have a confession…

When I was like 13 (before I had rules or parental guidance lol) I stayed the night with my best friend and we snuck out of her house in the middle of the night and had a boy who we never met in person before (he was 17) pick us up and we went to his house and smoked pot and drank and somehow made it back to her house before her mom woke up… she never found out but I’m sitting here tonight thinking about my best friend because I miss her and this memory popped in my head 😅

Wow! That's a beautiful memory! Where is your friend? Is she still with us? If not I understand that. My best friend died of a heart attack 15 years ago!

I miss some of the shenanigans my cousin and I used to get up to when we were around that age. It's a minor miracle nothing truly horrible happened.

On the flip side, stories like this and stories like the things we got up to are a big part of the reasons why I never want kids of my own. 😂

Even well-meaning parents may have little to no idea what their kids are doing.

With checked-out parents, their kids could be on the other side of the State and they have zero idea and never even find out unless God forbid.

That sounds like a great anecdote to me, something you'll be able to laugh about when you're much older.
That sounds risky af. I mean, it turned out ok I guess but wow. As for the 17yr old, that guy was messed up 😐

@ostfuidctyvm I was used to doing what I wanted whenever I wanted
@MommaBear Then you grew up and had children and now you do whatever they want when they demand it 🤣

@looking4thesun we were kids it shouldn’t have happened at all
@MommaBear ah yes. But it did and it's all part of growing up. Keep it as a fun memory of your youth
