I drove to see my childhood home last night because I was in town and I got sad and mad. I should still be there

A few years ago it was lost to foreclosure and we were forced to move into the apartment we all hate. I was in town visiting a friend and decided to drive by at night. I saw the glow of q tv from the front room and could kinda see in. I was mad because that should be me watching tv in there not whoever lives there now. I was also sad and got depressed for the same reason. I used to feel welcome and knew I could always be on those grounds but now I feel like I couldn't even touch the grass.

Love how the landscaping and plants are the same as when we lived there. The same landscaping block my dad put in before he died. I wonder if the same planters he built are still in the back. The fence he built still stands.

The last house we bought was a foreclosure.. i used to wonder about the people who lived there .. my husband sold it and we bought land but the the morgage company who bought out our morgage was really crook.. they kept forcing the payments up for no reason.. i presume they were trying to force us out.. they should be investigated cause methinks they are evil the Freedom Mortgage company 😒

@YoMomma They probably have a Similar story to us the previous owners. Im not surprised i feel forcing people out is profitable for them so people cant pay off a house and theu stop getting money from them

@TempuraShrimp yeah it’s not right.. if they are going to take someone’s house for non payment the owners should at least get their cut of the sale of the house = to their investments vs moneys owed imo ah well.. there are programs for low income mortgages sometimes it’s cheaper to buy another house than to rent ..
