Is there a way to get rid of these advertisement that cover my entire screen?

I'm so sick of trying to read something, and an ad covers my whole screen. After I click it off, I don't remember or can't find what I was reading originally. Is the only answer to pay these bastards to keep them away? I'm so frustrated that I could scream. What do I have to do, before I just throw my computer out of the window?

Well, on a phone I do not know but on a computer -
adblock plus and/or ublock origin seem to work well.

Ran on firefox, ublock origin even blocks ads on youtube, for the time being. YMMV.

Only thing is, some sites say, "It looks like you are running an ad blocker..." but you can always disable them for whatever site you are on if need be.

Oh I've never seen that as I'm on a phone.. maybe ask gerry for vip if he is still around idk you don’t have an ads pop up blocker on your pc?
