I screwed up and paid the price. Don't let me eat a bunch of sugar

I made that oreo pie thing I spoke about earlier and had filling leftover. Ate more of it than I should. Got tired took a nap and woke up sweating, chest hurt and heart rate kept shooting up like crazy. Felt dizzy I think it hit the low 120s at its peak. Gradually went down to the low 90s which is normal for me resting hesrt rate wise. Gave myself a damn anxiety attack thanks to sugar and lots of it.

Was going to hop in the car to go to ER then it started improving and slowing down so I said nevermind and went back inside.

Do get a check up done. Dont self diagonise that it is the sugar.

@WandererTony I've gone in for similar reasons in the past and it's the same outcome heart looks good nothing weird about it. Anxiety seems to be the culprit

@buriedalive Try all possible reasons. Heart isnt the only organ.

@WandererTony I can't really think of anything else that would be the culprit besides the heart.

@buriedalive Leave the thinking to the doctors. Share your symptoms with them.

@buriedalive He is right. There are a variety of physiological reasons behind a sudden fast heart rate. Just now, I can think of at least 5 possibilities none of which you can rule out without professional help. Is it related to the sugar? Maybe and maybe not. Related, not necessarily caused by sugar.
