@LadyBronte Oh, I didn’t realize we hadn’t. I love nice jewelry and have bought her a ton. She’s never really owned anything of value, other than sentimental. Now, they know us by name at the local Tiffany’s. I’ve got a jeweler in Boston that does my custom stuff. There are two places we frequent when on Nantucket. She also likes the Yurman store in NYC. We’ll be down there in two weeks for a long weekend. She’s definitely spoiled.
@Adogslife Wow! She's a very lucky lady! I'm sure no one will ever know my name at the local jewelry store, let alone Tiffany's or Yurman's. Lol. I'm glad you're happy and found someone to share life!
@LadyBronte Making someone smile is such a great reward. I’ve posted pics here before. Plus, I used to be in the business, so I’ve designed higher end stuff for ages.
But, as an example, here’s last year’s Christmas tree. Some of the “ornaments” are bags from Tiffany’s. There are three in that pic that are visible.

@Adogslife Very sharp. I didn't realize you possessed such a gift for design. They are both gorgeous, but I am enamored of the teal diamond and diamond ring. Unique in all the right ways.
@LadyBronte Not really. I just hand picked the stones and redesigned the underneath of the engagement ring to accommodate the needs of a 2.5 ct eternity band. Normally they wouldn’t fit next to each other. Both rings are 2.5 cts. The engagement is a 1.5 center with another carat in accessory diamonds.
@LadyBronte Thanks, the teal diamond is fun. The goal of that series of rings was to hand pick your center stone. I’d stock dozens of natural (loose) Ceylon sapphires in a variety of colors. One of my friends mined there (Sri Lanka, Ratnapura). You’d pick your stone, generally 1.5-3cts. and we’d make the ring in any metal or combo of metals (18k or platinum). The uniqueness is in the viewing angles. No matter where you put your hand, there were always varying viewing angles that aren’t traditional.
@Adogslife I just now saw your other photos. Beautiful! Im impressed. I do love the way the band fits with the engagement ring - I've seen so many that don't. Her set is quite lovely. Thanks for sharing those!
@LadyBronte I don’t design nearly as much because I’m not in the retail business anymore. I do help friends with advise for their wives or girlfriends. Everyone has a budget. The goal is simply to make a splash with what you can afford.
Now, if I’m in a shop and I can see there’s someone there with an eye, I’ve had them make something in the past.
