@OliRos Thanks, appreciate and except for #1, I am surprised. That does not sound like a typical British lady but more like a Scandinavian woman.

It is amazing how the brain subconsciously pictures a person that one has never met. The same by the way applies to the voice.

There are blonde blue-eyed English girls.

Maybe there is Germanic or Scandinavian DNA somewhere in my background. Mummy is naturally fair. Daddy darker.

@OliRos I fully concur with you. I have done those DNA test to check my ancestry and what I found makes my hairs stand up... 😱

@OliRos It is interesting but very time consuming if you are serious about it to try to locate your ancestors. Good luck with it. May I recommend a site that is called "myheritage.com". They have paid subscriptions but in my opinion, the best site available for your money if you are serious about it.

A free site would be "ancestry.com", a site run by the Mormon Church but that has no obligation for you to join and that is not biased and does not brainwash you. Their aim is to scan the entire Western World's church records and upload them free of charge to members. There are several billion records available to search.

@Stephie I think I might have my DNA tested. I don't have the time to stsrt researching family trees.
