@SW-User i took years to pay off my student loans, I think the government should cover further education and overhaul the tax system and set a flat rate, then the person who has the qualified for a better job will pay taxes on a higher salary will pay the loan back via the taxes...it works in other countries.
But I suppose the top 5% would complain that it was communism.

@RuthHolmes67 if your college degree actually helped you become a useful member of society, then I support government aid with the already low rate loans.
Collage is not a necessity. I have no college and I make 125k, a daughter with no college at 30 making 90k, and a 20 year old daughter making 60k also no college.
Why should we pay for college degrees for people that fail after college to succeed?
