And now Biden proposed the highest capital gains tax rate in history. The only time it was close to this high was during the Carter administration...remember how great the economy was then? Now...if this passes, there will be a mass sell off from the stock market before the new rates take effect, causing the market to tank, and send a shock wave through markets world wide. Stupidest idea imaginable unless your goal is to take a weak US economy and drive it into a depression.
