Making chili for tonight. Do you put ketchup in your bowl of chili?

Or is that a sin like breaking up your spaghetti or cutting it instead of twirling. My ex always put ketchup in chili.

Also, I goofed and used hot mexican chili powder instead of my usual chili powder plus other hot stuff. I could have used ketchup and not knew because i burnt my face off
