Who do you open up to the most?

@SW-User I really want to do that. Trying to put myself out there just to open up a bit. But it’s harder than I thought it’d be.

@IttyOldBitty I've been doing it for years and it's not that serious. There are people here who hear your authenticity and appreciate you and support you. There are people that will put you down too, but they do it to everyone who shares themselves. And lots of people will ignore you and block you...

But ultimately we're all just people behind a screen. We can share snippets but we'll never really know each other. But the cool part is that makes all the kindness genuine and takes the steam out of feeling shy, awkward or hurt by negative responses.

And because it's words, it takes time and thought to articulate yourself, so you dig a little deeper. That's for you 🖤

@SW-User never really thought of it that way. I did discuss my issues with anxiety on here yesterday. Found a lot of people to be kind and supportive. I’ll work on being more open. I think it would do me a world of good. But I’m kind of an artsy fartsy weirdo type so when I say something from the heart, I want it to convey everything I’m feeling and thinking. I feel things deeply. Lol I’m sure I’ll get blocked or made fun of but that’s ok. At least I know I’m being authentically me. Even it is just behind a screen. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Maybe I just needed a good kick in the pants to start. Lol I’m working on it!
